IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY: This Software Trial License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between GRSOFT Structural Engineering (“Licensor”) and you, the individual or entity (“Licensee”) accessing and using the trial version of RC Ductility Designer (“Software”). By downloading, installing, or using the trial version of the Software, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
Grant of License
Trial License – The Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the trial version of the Software for evaluation purposes only.
Restrictions – This trial version is provided solely for testing the Software’s features and may not be used for:
- Commercial purposes
- Resale or distribution
- Production or operational use
Limitations of the Trial Version
Feature Restrictions – The trial version includes limited functionalities, and certain features may be disabled.
Time-Limited Access – This trial version is valid for 30 days from activation unless otherwise specified.
No Technical Support – The Licensor is not obligated to provide technical support for the trial version.
Licensee Obligations
Prohibited Actions – You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Software
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with security mechanisms
- Rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Software
- Use the trial version beyond the permitted evaluation period
Intellectual Property Rights
The Software and all related materials are protected by copyright laws and intellectual property rights owned by the Licensor.
You do not acquire any ownership rights in the Software by using the trial version.
Data Collection & Privacy
The Software may collect limited, anonymized data for the purpose of improving performance and usability.
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Termination
This Agreement will automatically terminate at the end of the trial period.
The Licensor may terminate this Agreement immediately if you violate any terms.
Upon termination, you must stop using and delete the trial version.
Disclaimers & Liability Limitation
“AS-IS” BASIS – The Software is provided “as is” without any warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
No Liability – The Licensor shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Slovenia/EU.
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Slovenia/EU.
Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By downloading and using the trial version, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
Changes to This Agreement
If necessary, we may update this Software Trial License Agreement to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or industry standards. Any updates will be posted on this page with the revised effective date. Continued use of the trial software after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this Agreement periodically.
